As the name suggests, we will cancel the Membership in this method. Whenever we cancel a Netflix membership, our auto payment also stops automatically. This membership cancellation is applicable from the next month, i.e., you can avail as much as you have paid. Not only this but if you want to use Netflix again, your profile and favorite shows are back to view. So let’s know the steps to cancel-
- First of all, open your Netflix and log in to your account.
- Now tap on 3dot on the left side.
- Now open Account Settings.
- Now scroll down a bit and tap on Cancel Membership.
- Now tap on the “Finish Cancellation” button.
By doing so, your Netflix membership will be canceled, and your automatic payment will stop automatically. This method is perfect for those who use Netflix only for some time or for a few web series.
But if you’ve always loved watching all the original Netflix content but want to get rid of unwanted payments, then another way is for you.
2. Change Payment Method
Most people always use a debit card or credit card for payment on Netflix, but in this method, we will add our UPI payment method and stop it through another source. I use this method for myself, so it is my favorite.
- First of all, open your Netflix.
- Now tap on 3dot on the left side.
- Now open Account Settings.
- Now scroll down a bit and tap on Manage Payment Info.
- Now tap on Change payment method as shown in the picture.
- Now tap on UPI Autopay and link your Paytm UPI.
By doing this, your payment method will be set to UPI, and the subscription payment will now be done through UPI. Now we will stop this automatic payment by going to the Paytm account.
- First of all, open your Paytm account.
- Now tap on 3dot on the left side.
- Now go to Payment Settings.
- Now scroll down a bit and tap on UPI Automatic Payment.
- Now find Netflix and cancel it according to the picture.
